I Met My Wife In A Honda
I can’t end this article without mentioning a fond remembrance. My wife (then single) brought her 1983 Civic into Motor Works for service. I was so impressed with this bright, vibrant, lovely woman’s choice of car, I proposed marriage six months later. Unfortunately the car turned me down. Hoping against hope I hadn’t angered the car’s owner by asking her second, I got down on one knee and again asked the sacred question. I must have looked folorn indeed, because she took pity on me and said yes. I have considered myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth ever since. (Smile!)
