Superior Care For Almost 30 Years
Quality maintenance and repair is essential to getting the most out of your Honda. Motor Works has been providing these services in DeKalb and Northern Illinois for over 30 years. We have three ASE Master Certified Specialists on staff.

In 1984, when we opened, other repair facilities refused to work on Hondas. They considered them “foreign cars”. NOT MOTOR WORKS! We welcomed these precise, well-engineered cars right from the beginning. They have been a critical part of our business ever since.

Schools and Tools
Superior Honda care is no accident. These cars are at the cutting edge of the auto industry. Our staff is constantly going to classes to keep up with the companies’ ever changing technology.

Expensive special tools and computer scanners are another part of our commitment to the Honda brand. Motor Works is determined to be the Dealership Alternative!

No Service Too Small, No Repair Too Big
We offer everything from light bulbs to transmission overhauls, “check engine lights” to motor replacements. We are comfortable with all Honda models and strive to deliver the service you deserve.

Honda owners in DeKalb and Northern Illinois choose Motor works because of our reputation for excellence, we hope you’ll choose us too.

I Met My Wife In A Honda
I can’t end this article without mentioning a fond remembrance. My wife (then single) brought her 1983 Civic into Motor Works for service. I was so impressed with this bright, vibrant, lovely woman’s choice of car, I proposed marriage six months later. Unfortunately the car turned me down. Hoping against hope I hadn’t angered the car’s owner by asking her second, I got down on one knee and again asked the sacred question. I must have looked folorn indeed, because she took pity on me and said yes. I have considered myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth ever since. (Smile!)
