Some Of Germany’s Best Engineering
Award winning, sleek, modern, powerful, surefooted; the list just seems to go on and on. Yes, we are talking about Audis. This marque embodies some of Germany’s best engineering.
- These fine cars have long been known for their pioneering work with Quatro all-wheel-drive.
- Their engines are among the most powerful yet fuel efficient of any manufacturer. Most incorporate turbocharging, and some have twin turbos.
- Handling rivals that of many sports cars.
- The beautifully designed A6 is a double winner, placing in Car and Driver’s Top Ten in 2012 and 2013.
An Instant And Deep Appreciation
I’ve been repairing Audis in DeKalb and Northern Illinois since I first put brakes on a 1969 Audi 100 over 40 years ago. This was the first set of inboard disc brakes I had ever seen. The logic of the unusual brakes gave me an instant and deep appreciation for their German design ability. This appreciation has never stopped.
Special Service Demands
Audi engineering requires very special knowledge, tools and parts to service properly. Constant schooling is required to keep up with their ever changing designs. These cars are so specific they require their own oils and coolants. We stock these parts and have thousands of dollars invested in special tooling and scanners. We also have three ASE Master Certified Specialists on staff. Motor Works is determined to be the Dealership Alternative.
